LOL It seems I really touched a nerve here. I wonder what the kids think?

That does not make any sense at all. I have a child who is half Asian, and he looks a great deal like me, granted we are not the same color, he still has many of my features, just as he probably would had he not been multi-racial, as you put it. So to properly answer your question it feels the same as anyone else raising a wonderful, beautiful child.

My children are half hispanic. I don't know where you live, but here in Denver, it is quite common. I have five sons, who's faces look exactly like their father. Everything else is a little darker and a little curlier, but the general popultation can look at our kids and assume they belong to us. You can have a child within your race the looks nothing like either of you. Are you assuming that a parent will be ashamed to be seen with a child that looks different or care for them less? I do believe most people knew what they might end up with, before the guy said AAAHHHHHH that was great!!!!!

Most parents don't care how their kid looks. Even people of single races (other than complection) can have kids that look nothing like one or both parents.

There are more important things to worry about with children than how they look. A parent will love their kid regardless of what they look like because that kid is half of them.

a million. confident it somewhat is! i think of truthfully everyone seems forward to their infant having a number of their valuable aspects- i truthfully like it! 2. i'm white, my sisters(mums factor) are mixed race and whilst she exchange into pregnant it exchange into only quite interesting, considering the fact which you have no longer have been given any concept what their epidermis tone would be, eye coloration etc.- it somewhat is extra of a secret than having a white/black baby! and that i do no longer think of any make certain is upset with what their baby appears like considering the fact which you suspect them captivating for although they look, and that they could no longer inevitably look like the two make certain! In my mums case, she says no. she in no way feels disconnected there is eternal love between households of each and every coloration and seeing as i'm now 18 and stay very a techniques away she is the only white individual contained in the living house carry and has been for 2-3 years. average- no disappointments!

It feels great, raising a kid whether it looks like me or not its just wonderful. The same goes with adopted children or fosters. Giving from myself to a child is the best thing I can do in this life.

My parents bore me, and I am multi-racial... I ran the 2-mile event and cross country races (2.6 miles) as well. I look very much like my parents.

You must not be very intelligent not to know that multi-racial children can look VERY much like their parents.

I'm not a parent at all, but this is a dumb question. Your child, regardless of what their ethnicity is will look like one of the parents, unless they are adopted. Obviously, only one of Angelina Jolie's kids at this point will look like her.

Your question makes me think of Jordin Sparks who just won American Idol. Her features are the best of both her mom and her dad. I believe every child has a bit of both parents in their physical features. Your child may look more like you than you think.

not every multi-racial child looks nothing like the parent. Think again.
