My Mum came to NZ from England, my dad was born in NZ - so I am 1 and 1/2 generations New Zealander? I think...

Me on my fathers side 10 generation here in america from scotland orignally.
On my mothers side 12 or 13 generations orignally from Buckinghamshire,England. and are some say related to Edward "The Longshanks" Plantagenet. ugh!

My great grand parents are from Ireland. All my grand parents were born in America. My husbands' parents came here from Cuba. He is first generation American. I guess I'm third generation American? AND, my husbands parents both became citizens and came here legally! I still have family in Ireland.

My great- great Grandparents on my dads side were Apache and Irish so I suppose one side has been here in America for centuries and the other , who knows, at least 5 generations.
