I've found out that paramedics had more hours of training but that is about it. But is there something more that a paramedic can do than an EMT? How do you know which is in the ambulance? Is it one of each?

While not relating to any other Volcanic Eruptions, confine your answers to Mt. St. Helen's eruption in 1980.
Millions of trees were destroyed. There were/are few roads suitable for vehicles and after the eruption, most were no doubt impassable.
How did the Forestry Service manage to re-plant all or most, of those trees?

Some time ago I was shopping in Birmingham City centre (UK). I had travelled by bus. While I was going from shop to shop I noticed two young barefoot guys. One was about 14 years old and his brother was about 19. They were begging to passing shoppers.

The only money I had on me was a £20 note.

I figured that what the boys really needed was shoes to survive the cold nights etc

I could only afford to buy one guy a pair of sneakers or trainers. Since i could not buy one lad a pair and not the other I decided to find an alternative solution. One of the guys took the same shoe size as me. I decided to buy the younger lad a pair of trainers and socks and to give my own trainers and socks to the older brother.

I had no money for the bus fare home and Inow found myself barefoot in the city.

I faced the long 11 mile walk . No-one stopped to offer me a ride home.

Was my act of kindness wasted on two down and out guys?

I don't want to use traditional marketing...the people I want to reach ...may not know they should be there. Great concept isn't it?? :)

I am very committed to helping others understand we should be able to wake up every day knowing anything is possible. I have a great workshop to present. The concept can be presented to any age group, any social class etc .... because it is about the only person you will be 100% responsible for in your life....yourself.

So...the workshop is ready. I just need to know how to market this workshop so weekly I can present to a small group of 15-20 people.

She fled the scene. I was rear ended at a red light she had no intention of stopping at. My dogs flew from the back seat to the dashboard, I followed her called 911 and she was arrested. It turns out it was her 3rd arrest for drunk driving, she was conviicted of drunk driving and felonious assault. I was in bed for two months, had to hire someone to take care of the house,because I was in so much pain. I'm trying to get damages from her insurance for $10,000. (roughly what my bills were) They want to settle at $4400.00 and I'm being told I should settle. WTF? I'm not asking for the moon, I think given the circumstances I'm being very reasonable - everyone who saw me during that time frame were licking their chops over how much I was going to get!!! (Like looking for $500,000 or 1,000,000) What do you think is reasonable and should I get another lawyer?
