I mean Atheist don't get very upset when someone makes fun of science. An example would the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Douglas Adams (an atheist) did a great job of making fun of science, and I didn't hear much complaint about that.
Why don't you all just lighten up?

My thoughts are sooner than later and we need to stop having kids because society is getting so bad. Everyday someone kills their teacher, goes to an amish town or something and kills people. This was unheard of 40 years ago. I think their will be a nuclear war sooner than later, but no bush bashing please this is not a political question.

I'd take this opportunity to welcome all christian women oppressed by men who believe in a male god. You can join hinduism where many forms of women are worshipped and celebrated aswell? We do recognise the power of women!

The church of England has rightly said that women are abused and belittled by men who believe in the male god!

I'm more concerned with the growing number of people that have been dupted into this lie that the Bible contradicts itself and has been "proven false." Nothing is farther from the truth. Not everything in the Bible has been proven, but a great deal has been proven. The Bible has NEVER been proven false. 100% of the contradictions I've ever been presented with have all turned out to have an explanation with even a very shallow bit of study.

You can't just read the Bible and expect to understand everything right away like a simple science book. You have to dig deeper. When you come accross something that appears to be a flaw. Recognize that something is out of place and study it a bit. You'll find that the fault was in your own understanding of the verses not in the book itself.
