Be the best you can be and do the best you can do, NO MATTER WHAT THE COLOR OF YOUR SKIN IS. This is 2006 and this is AMERICA. I believe we all have equal opportunities and equal rights and our lives are only what we make of them.
More ambition, more rewards. No ambition, a spot in the welfare line. It's up to you what you become in this lifetime, so go get em!
BTW, Your place in heaven depends on how you live this life. Integrity will get you everywhere that matters, including Heaven. If you truly believe being white is a sin, you should get some therapy. I'm not being mean, we could all use a little therapy, but if someone has put that idea in your head, they are wrong.

I am a pure black African.....and i don`t have problems with white people because history of all this blacks and white still haunt us a lot especially in the modern world but ME i believe we should accept our differences and you can not pay for the SINS that were made by your forefathers and ME as a black person i can no blame you for what happened because it`s over and done with so why keep the racist stuff to our lives ?
Live your life to the present not to the past as History is meant to GUIDE us no MISLEAD us.
Bare in mind that Black people also mis-treated white people ..i am Botswanan and i read an article where the Chief threshed a white guy for some funny stuff that can a normal person can not be punished for.

Sometimes, it is in fact harder for black people in life in certain things in life, but everyone has a hard time with something. Color has nothing to do with it, there are people that hate mexicans, whites, blacks, indians. We are all disliked for some reason or another. And being white is not a sin, you are who you are and god made you that way for a reason. If you look in the Bible, it does NOT say that heaven picks by color, so I would assume that yes white people can get into heaven as well as any other nationality.

i am white (say hello to my avatar) and i was told by a history teacher of mine in 11th grade that "every white person is racist no matter what since they are the majority of the population" (meaning we pick on the "outsiders"). Well, I am in Arizona and there are many Hispanic families here and ALL the students in that class argued with him. We all stuck up for eachother. All im saying is that everyone of every color has to deal with some type of prejudice. You are not a bad person and you're not sinning. Chai had a really good answer. so read hers!

i hope your being sarcastic as well, but if your not...

I, as a black woman, think you have nothing to apoligize for. Being white is not a sin. I would say ingeneral, blacks, and most people of color, do have a harder life, but everyone faces some challeges.

And to the person who said black people enslaved themselves and all that bull crap...YOU ARE IGNORANT. Most black people, especially educated ones like myself could care less about slavery. Its over and people of this generation had nothing to do with it. What we have a problem with is people judging us based one how we look or how a few ignorant blacks behave. And then, we really cant stand when you judge us and treat us unfairly for it.

Finally, you dont have to worry about getting into heaven in my opinion becasue I dont think heaven, hell, or god for that matter exits. (Just my opinion)

No you shouldn't feel guilty for being white. Yes, people of color do have additional challenges because of skin color so accept it as a fact. The only sin in being white is if you're an ignorant, untrustworthy, horrible human being; but then again, blacks, Asians, native peoples...we're all capable of that sin, so that one can't be claimed by whites only.

As an aside, the only thing I want anyone to do where I'm concerned is judge me on my character, period. Respect that we're different, be OK with it, but judge me on my character.

WOW I'VE NEVER HEARD SOMEONE SAY THAT ALL WHITES ARE AUTOMATICALLY RACIST. WELL DARKER SKIN PEOPLE DO TEND TO HAVE A HARDER TIME IN THE PROFESSIONAL WORLD. YOU ARE NOT A SINNER BECAUSE YOU ARE WHITE THOUGH. YOU CAN'T HELP WHAT SKIN COLOR YOU ARE. NOW IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE RACIST PEOPLE THEN YOU HAVE A PROBLEM AND NEED TO RETHINK YOUR VIEWS, BUT ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE YOU NO ONE ELSE CAN.

Hehe.

If you want the real truth you should only be guilty if you have pots of money.

Everybody has a hard life except a small percentage of people who are remarkably well off.

And Im going to Heaven myself because I'm a good boy and i eat all my greens:D

I think that we are never going to shake off racism until questions like this are laughable. We still seperate different races in this way, we still are setting up government programs for things like black history month and setting up for our children that there is something fundamentally different between races. This is wrong and until our school children never have to wonder if they are inferior, or should feel guilty, or even never even think that there is any difference at all between them and a fellow race then racism will never die out.

Of course whites can go to heavan, it's not a sin to be white. Black might have a harder life because they're black but that's not your fault if you're nice to them. People should be nice to people who have darker skin, they're not any different from you or me.
