I've read that the clinically depressed have the most balanced view on life. Could this be true? Maybe happiness is something that's truly unattainable, and is only an delusional state of being.

if someone (either family, friend, or co-worker) consistently takes criticism badly, denies responsibility, and places blame upon others, what's a reasonable way to cope without rocking the boat? or are rough waters permitted?

Why do stupid "questions" like this usually get the most answers?


I just saw a question where a girl said "your ugly" (she couldn't even spell it right) and she got almost 30 answers...

Oh, and I bet a majority of the people who answer my question are going to say "No, I'm not ugly, you are", because they don't read the details. This website can be sooo predictable....

I think this is the "six sense" as I used to have a lot of them when I was younger, and still have them to this day!

My feelings on this is that you know when your having one, cos everything seems to slow down a fraction, and you know exactly what happens next in a particular moment of a sequence of events...

i stay home the whole week since im on vacations, I go out once in a blue but honestly this is all i do watch t.v go on myspace,chat, talk on the phone and than on weekends I just party I know all of you probably will tell me to get a job but i just can't find 1 does anybody have the same routine and is it normal?

My father was arrested two weeks ago for Possesion of CHild Porn and Lewd or indecent act with a child under 16. Then last weekend he went back to jail for 2 days for beating up his girlfriend. I'm an adult and I know that he is sick and needs definately help. My issues are with me dealing with all of this. It is really hard dealing with a father that is guilty of these charges. Has anyone ever been through this? Is there any sort of group or program that helps? Thanks for your help and time.
