Ok, I have a question. Global warming is a huge threat due to the rise in CO2 levels, causing more heat absorbtion and less polar ice to reflect the sun's energy, yada yada yada. Also the increase in co2 has now been predicted to turn our oceans into acid by 2100. Yet, NASA has the technology, originally developed for manufacturing a habitable atmosphere on Mars, to turn CO2 into oxygen, through a process called solid oxide electrolysis. Why can't we just make a bunch of these oxygen generator cells and distribute them around the planet to reduce CO2 levels? They sound inexpensive to manufacture. If we can make a planet of co2 habitable, why can't we make our own planet habitable? Here is a link to some info on these generator cells. http://ares.ame.arizona.edu/mip-ogs/ogs_principle.html
