I'll dream scenes, images, and people that I have never seen or met before... only to have that exact thing happen weeks or months later. Anybody else have this experience?

When we see something or feel something our mind starts generating thoughts and also when your r in some kind of situation or problem then again your mind start generating thoughts in order to solve or overcome or just deal with it !! ... how do u actually improve quality of thoughts that r generated by our mind ? ... can we customize our mind to generate the thoughts that we want ? ... cause most of the people i know even professors say that the thoughts r just generated by mind ... by who's mind is it ... "ours" ... so why can't we control it ???

get tired of always hearing how you're thoughtless, only care about sex, and lots of other not so lovely things that some jaded women say about you? I was just going over some of my old questions when I was confussed and sad about stuff and seeing how many kind and wonderful answers I got from men. Just wanted to say I don't agree with those women. Yes, there are some bad guys out there, but there are bad girls too. Also, wanted to say thank you to the MANY MANY nice, kind, caring, considerate guys out there. The women in your lives are very lucky. : )

I'm curious as to why some people REALLY like their daily routines and get upset at the idea of changing them, even if it's for a good reason.

I am totally a non-routine person and have a hard time understanding this tendency others--can anyone help me get it?

My mom has had 3 dreams so far about my son dying, and my grandma has also had one where she dreamt of him falling into a hole, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about what this could mean. It's worry some to me because my mom will usually dream things that will happen, not only that but for some reason I always have this feeling like I have to protect him more than I have to my daughter, whenI start to pray for them, my mind will automatically go back to my son. I was just wondering if anyone knows what does it usually mean when someone dreams of a loved one dying?

Last time I’ve checked, I haven’t seen much of discrimination from the federal government when it comes for the employment and their pay scales. The federal health agency spends more money on women’s health than on men’s. According to the federal statistics there are 39 states that have an office of women’s health and only six have one for men. A search of more than 3,000 medical journals listed in Index Medicus found that 23 articles were written on women’s health for each one written on men’s. Although a woman is only 14 percent more likely to die from breast cancer than a man is from prostate cancer, funding for breast cancer research is 660 percent greater than funding for prostate cancer research. Even the post office has gotten into the act: there is only one disease for which you can buy a postage stamp and the profits will go to research to cure the disease: breast cancer, even though heart disease kills millions more men prematurely.

I once did this activity in a class where the teacher made us sit in darkness with this calming music in the background. She'd then go on to say "You're walking in a forest, what's the weather like?" or "You see a lake, describe it and what do you do?"
And we'd write everything down.
Then in the end everyone would share their answers and the teacher would say the deeper meaning behind our answers.
For example, a large flowing lake that you ran around in really meant you were a sexual person.

What is the name of this test? Does it have one...Or what?...Any info would be helpful.

do you think it would be better or worse if you died? if so, why? i've thought of death a lot of times but i am against suicide. I've thought about it a lot and i do not fear it. Would you mind it if you died tomorrow?

People ask me all the time if i'm sad or tired, and one of my friends told me that she thought i was depressed before she met me. But i'm not! i'm really not sad or tired all the time, its just the way my face is built. i don't kno if its my eyes or my mouth. My mouth kinda goes down naturally, in a slight frown, but i don't kno how to fix this problem. I don't want people thinking i'm depressed all the time. Any suggestions will help! THanks!

suppose you have been in a loveless, passionless and abusive marriage for many years and you fall in love with someone else even though they are only your friend and you have no idea what the other person feels about you.One night you have a vivid dream of sleeping with someone you just met and don't even like, the sex feels good for the time being but you feel absolute disgusted and guilty afterwards more guilty then you have ever felt, and then when you wake up from this dream you cuddle up next to your husband even though you do not have a good marriage and are glad it was only a dream, but still in your heart feel flutters when you think of that friend you learned to love.Would this mean you are guilty for being with your husband against your love or your love against your husband?

I wish I had a nickel for every time I have been told
"You cannot be too nice!" People will take complete advantage of you and leave you hanging out to dry. I disagree. I have always treated others the way I would like to be treated. I believe that a compassionate person will be there and help you to a point.Maybe what they need is support in making a decision. That isn't asking for to much is it?
