If that's correct, how comes we can't rearange them?

For example. Africa has got a whole lot of sand that they don't really want. What they really want is water.

If sand and water are both made up of atoms, why can't they rearange the sand atoms into water atoms?

I bet nobody's ever thought of that.
See, I've solved the Earth's problems.

Anyone who knows alot about physics, please help me.
I understamd the idea of 'spin' but how can a particle have a spin of 1/2? I do not understand how this works. If you know, please tell me. Also, I know what Pauli's exclusion principle is, but how does it work and why does it happen?
Thanks in advance for your help.

As you move away from the earth its gravity gets weaker. But suppose it did not? Suppose it got stronger? If that fictitious law were so, would it be possible for things, like the moon, to orbit the earth?

a) Yes, just as they presently do.
b) Yes, but unlike they presently do.
c) No, orbital motion could not occur.

2 particles, each of mass 'm' and speed 'v', travel in opposite directions along parallel lines separated by distance 'd'. Show that vector angular momentum of the 2-particle system is the same whatever be the point about which the angular momentum is taken.

this one physics teacher at my high school showed an experiment to me last year and it involved him using a straw and a lab cup filled with water(i think or some sort of blue liquid). he blew into the cup with the straw and then made the liquid become green. he never really told me what caused it to become green.

the sun is getting bigger and bigger, theres always explosions happening on the sun.maybe we are so tiny that we're seeing a massive explosion happening before our eyes.and maybe with the sun getting bigger it'll create a bigger orbit and eventully pull everythin in our universe to the suns orbit and every star, planet and meteor will join together, sorta like that theory on the creation of our moon.

In 1930s that our own Milky Way galaxy behaved as if it contained more matter than could be seen with telescopes. This puzzled astronomers, astro-physicists. So, this non-luminous matter became known as "dark matter" and we now know that over 90% of the matter in the entire universe is dark.
What is this dark matter made of? And what happens if dark matter and regular matter collide or put together in laboratory, for instance? When people talk of dark matter, they think of the milky way or stars, but what about on earth? is there evidence of dark matter on earth? Is there an active search for it?

And more questions:

The squared second, would it represent another dimension?
Are spacial dimensions limited to the 3rd? If not, then what would be the 4th, 5th, 6th, etc?

Could infinite/3 be represented by 3 parallel parabolas?*

*My reasoning on this one: This would divide infinite into 3 seperate sections. As you went farther along each section, they would grow closer to one another, but being 3 seperate sections they would never meet (like 3 parallel parabolas). So am I way off, or do I have a good concept?

just to clarify:

so an element has one electron shell right?

and that electron shell has sublevels

so like in the Bohr model when they have circles around the nucleus.. each circle is an orbital which is different from a shell because a shell refers to all of the orbitals??

and those circles start from s and end at f at most?

can anyone clarify all this
