One ball is twice the diameter of the other and both have the same mass. Which ball will reach the bottom first?

By the way, this is not a homework question. I was actually asked this question during a job interview and was curious to if I got it right.

I have an idea for a kinetic sculpture, but I need to figure out how to make some pretty tricky clockworks mechanics to make it. Anyone know how to get started in this? A good book, or a web site? Something laymen level (light on the math formula) preferred.

8 tiny particles are arranged in a perfect cube 1x1x1 m³
formation originally at rest. 4 edes of the cube are
aligned vertically, and 8 edges are aligned horizontally.

All 8 particles are simutaneouslty released and
allowed to free fall for 1 second. By how much
the will distances between pairs of particles,
which share a same edge change?

Alright, so I understand it is the standard explanation for the wavefunction "collapse". But how is it a product of thermodynamics? And how does it prevent interference between the wavefunction and the environment? Please explain!

I know that one Telsa is 10,000 Gauss but I want to know how that cant be interpreted into lbf between two metals...i.e.

if two bars of iron have 1 Telsa of magnetic force between them then how much lbf does that feel like.....with varying distances. between 1-5cm

If anything in the vacuum of space that was set into motion will travel at the same rate of speed constantly as the initial thrust, could light speed happen by an engine that was constantly pushing the object?

Would the speed of the object be grow exponentially faster by the second? Could speeds greater than that of Light also manifest?

Probably yes, if you consider that weight equals mass times the force of gravity.

However, I mean weight in common sense (or in the sense of mass).

At first, it seems to me that the mass is always constant, regardless of where we are.

But if we took a scale to the Moon, wouldn't the pull of gravity also influence the value that was marked on the scale?

For example, if I weigh 55kg on Earth, would I weigh the same on the Moon?

a straight line with constant velocity u = 10 m/s.

The shortest distance between the path of RR and the cactus is 50 ft. When he runs past the cactus WEC ambushes him, and begins chasing him with speed v = u = 10 m/s.

The velocity of WEC is always directed towards RR.

What is the distance between them after sufficiently long chase?

Position when the chase begins:
