Hey,

What does it mean when the force is fully reversed?! Will the force/torque applied on the bike pedal/crank considered fully reversed?! I know it is, but I don't know why. In my analysis, I used weight of the rider as the only force applied to the pedal as it rotates, and that force is fully reversed to calculate factors of safety in the pedal/crank-arm.

How would I explain the logic behind that in the report?! Any ideas?

Thanks!

Explosions
Sudden collapse
Horizontally ejected debris
Building falling at free-fall speed
Building falling into its own footprint
Pyroclastic dust cloud
Molten Steel

Did you know that all these features were exhibited in WTC buildings 1,2 and 7 (Yes, there was a 3rd building that collapsed in NYC that day)

Explosions were heard by firemen, police officers and other witnesses before (not the plane strike) and during the collapse.

Notice how the buildings suddently collapsed instead of slowly sagging (considering the fire allegedly melted the steel).

Why was the debris ejected horizonally? It should not have ejected at all, it should have simply fallen.

All 3 buildings fell at free-fall speed. WTC 1 and 2 fell in under 10 seconds (10-11 floors per second) and WTC 7 fell in under 7 seconds (8-9 floors per second). Why did the buildings not encounter any resistance during the collapses?

why was there MOLTEN STEEL found at the bottom of all 3 buildings?

God Bless the families

at six flags there is a roller coaster shaped like a tear drop. the cars ride on the inside of the loop. the loop is 35 meters high with a max speed of 31 m/s at the bottom and 18 m/s at the top and corresponding centripetal acceleration is 30.38 m/s^2. radius of the arc at the top is 10.664 m. If the mass of the people plus the cars is 2011 kg, what force does the rail exert on it at the top ? answer in units of newtons.

I know that B is flux density and H is field strength, but why the symbol B and why H? I am guessing that H is for Henry, but I can't think of why the letter B is used. Anyone know?

An object is projected vertically upwards at a speed of 22ms-1 (g=9.8-2) calculate the maximum height reached by the object (the speed at the top is 0) and the time taken between the object being projected and it landing again.

The answer given in the book is 25 m and 4.5s but by my calculations I cannot achieve this - any help appreciated I'm probably missing something simple out!

I have a non-uniform wind vector acting on my projectile. The wind vector changes as a function of x ,y ,and z. I would like to be able to solve for the angle above the horizon the gun should be pointed, and the angle off of the x-axis (in the x,y plane) the gun should be pointed in order to hit a target a certain distance above the horizon. If my initial position vector is [0 , 0 , 0] and my final targets position is [300 , 0 , 15]. Any thoughts would be awesome. I am solving this using MatLab, and have a program that will tell me every position of the ball during it's flight.
