The American physical chemist Gilbert Newton Lewis proposed a unit of time called the "jiffy". According to Lewis, 1 jiffy = the time it takes light to travel one centimeter. Jaqueline and Gilles were playing with rocks at the edge of a cliff which was 80 m above the beach below. Gilles threw a 1 kg rock upwards with a speed of 30 m/s. Let the acceleration due to gravity be -10 m/s^2.

I've calculated kenetic and potential energy

I need to know how to get the speed and height of the rock after each second that passes by. Any help is greatly appreciated.

As i ve read before scientists have managed to teleport an electron over a very short distance.
Does the process involve disintegrating the electron into smaller parts and then reconstructing again?

I need to know what are these 'smaller parts' and how this process of disintegration goes about???

Is there really length contraction or it is because the object is travelling at too fast a speed thus before light can be reflected from the front of the object to the observer, the back of the object has already catch up. Thus this created a false impression to the observer that the object length has contract while the true is it just seems to contract.. A false impression created by the eye..

I not sure whether is it right to think in this way.. feel free to comment

Say i was traveling on a beam of light (of course at speed c) and i take out my mirror and i look at myself!
As the speed of light is constant in any frame i would see my reflection in the mirror. That is because i too would see light travel at speed c relative to me.

But my question is what would an outside observer (in a stationary frame) see? He would see both me and the light beams(which were relfected from my face) both travel at the same speed right?
So from his point if view would he be able to see my face in the mirror? ( i think he will see me and the light reflections from my face travel together)

Consider yourself in a spaceship traveling at the speed of light. Would you be able to see urself in the mirror? explain.

My argument, is that: im also traveling at speed c while holding the mirror in front of me. So in order for me to see myself in the mirror the light rays from my face should reach the mirror and back to me.
So once the light rays from my face reflected they are on their own(moving at speed c). My mirror is also moving at same speed.
So what im saying is that the light rays will never reach the mirror; hence i wil not see my image in the mirror.
