well if ur asking about COSMIC RAYS.
cosmic rays are radiation consisting of energetic particles originating beyond the Earth that impinge on the Earth's atmosphere and the interstellar medium. Cosmic rays are composed mainly of bare nuclei, roughly 87% protons, 12% alpha particles (helium nuclei) and most of the rest being made up of heavier atomic nuclei with relative abundances comparable to those found in the Sun. Electrons, gamma rays, and very high-energy neutrinos also make up a much smaller fraction of the cosmic radiation.
But if ur talking about cosmic radiation in general, then they are composed of the ENTIRE ELECTROMAGNETIC SPECTRUM.
except astronomical bodies like planets, asteroids , comets and other smaller bodies almost everything emits cosmic radiation.

Cosmic radiation is microwave background radiation. Very low energy photons from when the universe was about 200,000 years old. Neutrinos are also part of cosmic radiation.
The high-energy cosmic radiation bombards us all the time -- and has for 6 billion years hit the planet -- so the radiation is not harmful -- otherwise, we would have died off as a species.
You could also consider the UV radiation from our sun as cosmic radiation. For that you should protect yourself with SPF 30.

It's that radiation that is not produced on this planet. Remember that the term "radiation" does not apply to a limited range of emissions. Visible light is radiation. Emanations from the x-ray machine that produces a radiograph of an athlete's broken ankle is radiation. All emanations from the sun fall under the description of radiation. Radio transmissions that enable you to listen to the newest rap and view live broadcasts on t.v. and send pictures from your cell phone to your friend's cell phone are radiation.
There is a certain range of radio frequency within which emanations that seem to come from all directions in space that's called "cosmic background radiation", which is now accepted as the echo from the original "big bang" at the birth of the universe.
Certain levels of radiation are unavoidable. Certain levels of radiation are physically harmful to humans and other living organisms. The task is to determine which sources of radiation to avoid and which are acceptable. I'm not going to spend my evenings in the dark because light from my lamp is radiation, nor am I going to forgo enjoying my hobby as a radio ham because the means by which I send my radio signals around the world is radiation. But I darn sure am going to keep my distance from a nuclear waste dump site!

Cosmic rays are particles originating from outside the earth. They are mainly atomic nuclei, such as helium nuclei. Cosmic rays also include gamma rays (electromagnetic radiation) and neutrinos.
