Not necessarily aHW problem, it's just I'm trying to build a model, and I want to know, not by trial and error, but I want to be sure it works.

I literally forgot the algebraic equation, I want to know if the slope ins an X amount of feet long, at a certain degree how fast it would be going by the time it hits the bottom of the line.

(cot x)+ √(3) = (csc x)

solve for x over [0, 2π).

the answer is x = (2π)/(3)
two pi over three

how do i get to the answer?

the problem spelled out:
cotangent of x, plus the square root of three, equals cosecant of x.
solve for x over zero(included) to two pi (excluded).

thank you if you can help..

1) Solve for y
log(3)y+3log(3) (y^2)=14

log(3) means log base 3

2) show that f(x) = (x-2)/(x+3) is invertible by finding its inverse.

(a) what is domain of f(x)? range of inverse?
(b) domain of inverse? range of f(x)?
