Int(sec^5xtanx)dx
=Int(sec^4xsecxtanx)dx
=Int(u^4)du
= u^5/5 + c
= sec^5x/5 + c

Integrate (sec^5x)(tanx) with respect to x.

â«(sec^5x)(tanx) dx

= â«(sec^4x)(secx)(tanx) dx
Let
u = secx
du = (secx)(tanx) dx

= â«(u^4)du

= (1/5)u^5 + C

= (1/5)(sec^5 x) + C
