3^1/2(tan^2 x) + (2+5(3^1/2))sec x + 10 + 3^1/2= 0

3^1/2 = square root of 3

Right now I have tan^2 x + 2/[{3^1/2} cosx] + 5/cos x = (-10(3^1/2))/3

I was going to sub tan^2 x with (1-cos 2x)/ (1+cos 2x) but it seems like I'm just going to end up going in circles?

I already know that 3 digits times 3 digits doesn't = 6 digits
So a 20 digit number times a 20 digit number won't give me a 400 digit number..

People do realize that all of these "proofs" that 1=0 or 2+2=5 are all either misguided or intended to be comical, right? Has anyone failed to recognize that virtually all of these types of pseudo-proofs involve dividing or multiplying by zero, which makes them invalid?

a = b
a² = ab
a² + a² - 2ab = ab + a² - 2ab
2(a² - ab) = a² - ab
2 = 1

ok here it is

2 = 1 + 1

x = 2 + 2 goes to

x = 2 + (1 + 1)

since 1 = 2

x = 2 + (1 + 2)

x = 2 + 3

x = 5

you can make 2+2=anything greater than or equal to 2

there is no division involved in this..and for that person that said i keep adding stuff, you can add stuff as long as you add the same amount on both sides

I apologize; but I have forgotten over the years how to solve inequalities with 3 terms.

When I use the < symbol followed directly by the - symbol, it will appear like <-. Please take that as "Less Than or Equal To". Please take -> as "Greater Than or Equal To".

The question I am attempting to solve is:

-9 <- -3x+15 <- 12

Negative Nine is Less than or Equal to Three X plus Fifteen which is Less than or Equal to 12.

Any assistance is gladly appreciated!

Thanks!
