Is International Affairs similar to studying Regional Geography?...
I wanted to study Regional Geography, concentrate on Italy's affairs with us (U.S), work for the govt. but I am sacrificing majoring in Geography to go to my dream school, even though it does not offer Geography, but I figured International Affairs is similar, as both have a little Political Science; history; anthropology; Geography; culture, in them *and can be a diplomat as a career when graduated. But is this true or what?..Deep down inside I'd love to say Geography is my major, but a sacrifice had to be made, I've concentrated on getting credits transfered to this school, *I don't want to go back to square one again.

what was the point of castles ? i have visited many of these the last one being calavelock in dumfries and galloway. what i cant grasp is when an invading force arrived why didnt they just walk round it and do their pillaging or whatever without having to lay siege to these buildings and also do a full frontal attack and loose many lives . so what was the point of these buildings.
