The elevations of the Great Lakes show a descending pattern: Superior, 600 ft; Michigan, 581 ft; Huron, also about 581 ft; Erie, 571 ft; and Ontario 246 ft. (www.michigan.gov/dev/)

Niagra Falls is between Erie and Ontario. The pictures always seem to show the flow at the falls facing West. Wouldn't it flow from West (Erie) to East (Ontario)? So is Niagra Falls flowing the wrong way?

Two people travel by helicopter, from Boston. They first travel 32 km, 45 degrees south of east Then they travel 53 km, 26 degrees north of west. Finlay, they travel 26 km, 18 degrees east of south. What will their final displacement be relative to Boston? Will they be back in Boston? If you look at a map of the surrounding Boston area, what city will the end up in if it's not Boston?

Lived in:
-Louisville: Hated it. Rude people, not welcoming to outsiders, awful drivers, not a lot to do
-Lexington: People there are pretty rude, but the horse farms are astonishly beautiful. Didn't like it very much
-Newport, KY: A northern city in a Southern state; I actually liked it best. Most people were actually friendly, approachable, and mannerly

Visited:
-Fort Worth: Awesome! Southern hospitality w/ doses of western and Tex-Mex heritage and culture.
-Austin: ditto, would live there
-San Antonio: ditto, would live there
-Galveston: ditto, would live there
-Mobile: pretty nice, love the Gulf breeze
-Orlando: Wouldn't live there, too many yankee transplants
-Nashville: friendly, charming, beautiful rolling hills, music heritage. Love it!
-Memphis: same reason as Nashville, minus rolling hills
-Jackson, MS: spent night there, didn't get much of a feel for it. Nice people and beautiful piney woods, though
-Atlanta: don't care for it, too crowded
-Birmingham: nice
