1. Been there? Live or lived there?

2. What do you think of it? How well do you like it?

3. What comes to mind when you think of Kentucky?

As for me...
1. Live here, in the Louisville-Lexington area. (I've also lived in the Madisonville, Murray, and Covington-Newport areas.)

2. Too many rednecks and too much white trash, most folks are rude and impolite; don't like it here! It sure is beautiful, though.

3. Hmmm...fried chicken, horses, Churchill Downs, swamps (in far west KY,) mountains, Shaker Village, rock fences, Green River, Corvettes, Mammoth Cave, Trail of Tears, palisades, My Old Kentucky Home, Abraham Lincoln, Jefferson Davis, Land Between the Lakes, Colonel Sanders Cafe, Cumberland Falls, Natural Bridge, Newport Aquarium, Mellow Mushroom, toothless hillbillies, rednecks, pickup trucks w/ confederate flags blasting rap music, etc.

I love TEXAS!!!

As for me:

Been there, plan on moving there next year.

Love Texas; friendly people, so much to do.

I think of cowboys, Austin, San Antonio, stockyards, desert, piney woods, Galveston, Eva Longoria, Hilary Duff, George W. Bush, Gov. Rick Perry, cosmopolitan cities, no income tax, Alamo, Austin City Limits, McGregor Cafe, Mile marker 880 on I-10, Bob Knight, the state flag, and so on.

Oh yeah, I'm moving down from Kentucky. If anybody can make any comparisons, that would be great. Thanks!

People say Great Britain is a island. Really? That is a very large island then. What about Australia? The dictionary says that it is a land mass surrounded on all sides by water.
