I love TEXAS!!!

As for me:

Been there, plan on moving there next year.

Love Texas; friendly people, so much to do.

I think of cowboys, Austin, San Antonio, stockyards, desert, piney woods, Galveston, Eva Longoria, Hilary Duff, George W. Bush, Gov. Rick Perry, cosmopolitan cities, no income tax, Alamo, Austin City Limits, McGregor Cafe, Mile marker 880 on I-10, Bob Knight, the state flag, and so on.

Oh yeah, I'm moving down from Kentucky. If anybody can make any comparisons, that would be great. Thanks!

Everything you said is true. I was born here left and came back. No where else but Texas! You forgot the Mexican food, the Spurs , the Cowboys the Gulf Coast and Mexico next door.
And George Bush was just visits when he comes here.

TEXAS - only good thing about texas is that there is no STATE TAX. As far as other things are concerned, my message to all texans, look around and move out, as soon as possible.

Tell me just three places to SEE in Texas - where tourists from all over america can come. Can you call Houston a City?? look at other American cities.

Now if you cpmpare Kentucky or Idaho with Texas, then probably Texas is slightly better. Otherwise, open your eyes and travel across America, you will realize what you are missing.

You have yourself told every thing about Texas. You have not told what exacty you want to kow. However i am trying to tell about TEXAS the facts. Yes it is a beautiful place to live and good you are moving to Texas.

Texas is a state in both the Southern and Western region of the United States of America. The state name derives from a word in the Caddoan language of the Hasinai: táyshaʔ, tecas, or tejas (Spanish spelling); meaning "those who are friends," "friends," or "allies".

Texas declared its independence from Mexico in 1836 and existed as the independent Republic of Texas for nearly a decade. It joined the United States in 1845 as the 28th state. With an area of 268,581 square miles (695,622 km²) and a population of 22.8 million, Texas is second to Alaska in area, and second to California in population.

aaR. You cannot imagine how happy we are that you left. The air is more clear. The sky is bluer. Oh, by the way, dimbulb, The Alamo in San Antonio is the 4th largest tourist draw in the South. You are not in the south? Great. Your contribution is that you left.

Love N.Y. take I-35 to Nebraska and turn right.

Yeah, I live in Texas. West Texas. Far west Texas. Extremely far west Texas. In fact, we call the other 253 counties here "East Texas".
