Funny you should ask. This reminds me of my early
Army days when I was sent from the US to Germany,
left some harbor in New York, and spent 8 days at sea.
That was in 1965.
Now you'll have it different. Maybe 6 days, not 8 and
stable vessel and no sea sickness.
I was so sick I did not eat for 2 full days. My meal
card had a place to be punched for 3 meals-a-day
and I had 6 spots not punched. That's how sick I was.
I lost 5 pounds. Once during my involuntary
fast I broke down and had a candy bar and it came back
up so soon that it tasted the same going down as coming up.
Have a nice trip.

there's any number of on line Great Circle Calculators available if you type in that search term...one link is below....

from Hamburg to NYC is 3306 nautical miles or 6124.5 km..so the question is how fast does the ship go? most modern liners don't do more than about 23 knots flat out.........with the exception of the Queen Mary II which can touch 30.....so the answer is, indeed, 6 days or so.
