I don't want to bore everyone by repeating all this on the mayan calendar and how it will end... or any of this on the world ending.. i'm just trying to say that even if there wasn't a mayan calendar, or any of this religious debate on when the worlds going to end, i just want to say that I read something on a polar reversal around 2012. The north and south pole are supposed to flip. I'm curious woldn't the magnettic poles flipping cause enough ecological damage that it could cause a cataclismic event ending many lives and it would appear as if the world is ending? Hypothetically speaking disregarding any facts lets assume the poles flip, what will happen?

Not one for conspiracy theories, but has anyone else noticed that there have been several odd things happening to the birds in the last 2-weeks. (Austin, Texas = Dozens Dead, San Francisco = Strange Flight Patterns, Australia = Hundreds Dead)
There was a movie released a few years ago called "The Core" where odd bird behavior was an indicator of the earth's magnetic field stopping it's rotation. Do you think it's possible that something is happening to our planet?

global warming, so called, seems to indicate that sea levels are rising - but are they ? when I go to the beach it seems that the sea is pretty much where it was years ago... and all the sea walls and harbour walls and so on built decades or even centuries ago seem to be ok too. So, are sea levels really rising, and where is the real proof ?
