1) I've read about LTR ( lighter than air ) recently.
and apparently helium is a very limited resource.
2) When we run out, thats it, no more helium.
3) America has always had most of the worlds supply,
lucky us, since being used to our advantage in WW1 and WW2.

I read that a long time ago, they used to take canaries into coal mines to test for gas. If the bird died they knew to evacuate.

A friend found it on a job site, here in central Oregon. I collect rocks, but this is the first one I have seen like it. I tried several websites that identify rocks and minerals, but they were no help .http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/9789/hpim0532editedrg9.jpg

Like lets say a runaway greenhouse effect. Is there a way that it could be reversed? Or will Earth end up like Venus? You know some Scientist say that Venus could have been nearly Identical to Earth! But sense it is so close to the sun, all of the water on the planet boiled away. But I don't think that just because the Earth is further away; that we couldn't meet the same fate! One day; I guarantee you we will regret what we are doing to our planet today! You know; I believe in God! But I also Believe in Science! I mean God gave men the ability to be intelligent and solve problems. It seems like global warming has become a "liberal vs. Conservative" Issue! But we all gotta live here! You would think that we could unite to resolve problems such as global warming.
