Like lets say a runaway greenhouse effect. Is there a way that it could be reversed? Or will Earth end up like Venus? You know some Scientist say that Venus could have been nearly Identical to Earth! But sense it is so close to the sun, all of the water on the planet boiled away. But I don't think that just because the Earth is further away; that we couldn't meet the same fate! One day; I guarantee you we will regret what we are doing to our planet today! You know; I believe in God! But I also Believe in Science! I mean God gave men the ability to be intelligent and solve problems. It seems like global warming has become a "liberal vs. Conservative" Issue! But we all gotta live here! You would think that we could unite to resolve problems such as global warming.

Well you know I'm not a scientist! But: CO2 is a Greenhouse gas! So; wouldn't it make our planet hotter? I mean Mars is a frozen desert!

Nah. I dunno who you are reffering to. But I'm not paranoid. You can't worry about things you can't change. But the sad thing about pollution is we can actually do something about it! When its my time to go its my time to go! I'm not afraid. But at the same time; You gotta do what you know is right!

Hahaha. I said that God left me? Your funny! You say I'm a blasphemer just because of my opinion on global warming. Gees! I don't for one second believe that the man upstairs wants us contaminating and destroying our environment. I live in a state where every body of water is contaminated. Its not the will of God. Its the choice of mankind.

Don't forget that the Earth is an adaptive ecosystem. As CO2 and temperatures rise, certain plants will thrive in areas that they have never been able to survive in before and give off more Oxygen to offset our Human stupidity.
But also, there is only a limited adaptability to the system. If we push it too far, the consequences will be disastrous.
Think of it as the Earth having a fever. The purpose of a fever is to burn off the organism that is causing the infection (in this case humans). Sometimes a fever will cure the problem; sometimes it will kill the victim. Let's hope that we can survive the changes that the Earth will be throwing at us in the next few hundred years.

Well u say u are religious and God has left u . God set into motion when he set us up here and u are being brain washed . CO2 is not a pollutant it is part of the air recycle system. The plants take in CO2 and keeps the C and gives us back the O2. It is a system called photosynthesis which God put in control of recycling our air in the beginning. That is the way we must coexist here. This process is not new and the plants have done a great job. I did have a job working with CO2 so I wore a detector, and the normal measurement was 1 to 2 parts per million. That is nothing, the environmentalist say that the CO2 has increased 30% . Wrong it is not true. There is not a problem with Gods system it is working fine.

I love your enthusiasm.
It's not something that just happens. And it didn't just start happening when we found out about it. It first started happening in the late 1800's when U.S. and other countries went through Industrial Era.
Since then we've been piling more and more on. Think about this, we only noticably have been going through Global Warming. Maybe the affects of Global Warming only actually started 30 years ago????
We are in trouble, even if we do all we can right now, it will continue to worsen. We can only do our best.

CO2 can not go out of control on the Earths surface!! It is a basic plant food and the plants take it up instantly upon exposure when they are growing. Experiments in greenhouses have proved that!!
Burning fuels on the surface CANNOT be the source of any 'greenhouse' effects. CO2 is heavier than air. Like water, it is not likely to rise very high in the atmosphere!! And as a vapor, water is lighter than air.
CO2 is being added to the upper atmosphere at rates never before experienced in nature by burning thousands of tons of kerosene above 30,000 ft. every day. A JET ENGINE burns 2-5 tons of fuel per hour above 30,000 ft. Each ton of fuel burned produces 3.66 tons of CO2.

The oceans can ultimately absorb excess CO2, but this will take thousands of years. The best we can do is curb our emissions and adapt to the changes we have already brought on ourselves.
