LPG is made up of propane, C3H8, and butane, C4H10, either stored seperately or together as a mixture. if a sample of C3H8 gas effuses through a tiny hole in 20 seconds, how long will it take a sample of C4H8 gas to effuse through the same hole under the same conditions?

1. An unknown solid acid is either citric acid or tartaric acid. To determine which acid you have, you titrate a sample of the solid with NaOH. The appropriate reactions are as follows:

Citric acid:
H3C6H5O7(aq) + 3NaOH(aq) ---> 3H2O(l) + Na3C6H5o7(aq)

Tartaric acid:
H2C4H4O6(AQ) + 2NaOH(aq) ---> 2H2O(l) + Na2C4H4O6(aq)

A 0.956g sample requires 29.1 mL of 0.513 M NaOH for titration to the equivalence point. What is the unknown acid?

Given the following data:
2O3 --> 3O2 DH = -427 kJ
O2 -->2O DH = +495 kJ
NO + O3 --> NO2 + O2 DH = -199 kJ

Calculate DH for the reaction
NO + O --> NO2

1. What is the wavelength of light (in meters) whose frequency in the FM radiowave region is 103.9 MHz?

...and the really tough one...

2. The absorption of a photon of wavelength 6.71x10^2 nm causes an electron in a certain molecule to go from one energy level to a state of higher energy. Absorption of energy in this range causes an electron in the valence shell of a molecule to move to a higher level. If the higher electronic level has an energy of 4.840x10^-19 J, what is the energy of the lower electronic state?

Would you put 3.5 cm or 3.50 cm or 3.500 cm. I don't understand how many significant digits there should be. Can someone please explain it to me so I'll know how to measure anything?
