Just started this today, not sure if I'm doing this right.

I have 10 mL of 0.1 M HCL and 20 mL of 0.1 M NaOH. It asks for the moles of H+, Moles of OH-, Moles of excess H+ or OH-, Total Volume, Concentration of {H+} or {OH-}, and finally the PH.

I can get most of the answers, and I get 1 Mol, 2 Mols, 1 Mol, 30 mL Total, and 33.333 for the Molarity, respectively. but my answer for pOH is approx. -1.5 making my pH a very low number... I know negative Phs are possible in calculations, but I'm not sure about this.

I need help wid 2 chemistry questions

1) Discuss the necessity of standards.
2) Why do scientists use STP? (atleast 2 reasons)

say the general answer to the 2 questions first and then add what r the necessities of STP in gases, vol, temp, pressure. And why do scientists use STP in gases, vol, temp, pressure.

I want to electroplate 3 copper bullets with nickel. What all do I need? I understand the basic concept, but whenever I tried, the water would turn all nasty and look like something that you might see floating on top a septic tank, and the objects on both the cathode and the anode would get all screwed up. I was very unsuccessful.

I plan on taking General Biology with General Chem 2, (with spanish 1 too). Is that going to be impossible?? Anybody take General Chem 2 and Biology at the same time?

just to let you know i am a spanish speaker in case some ppl think that the spanish class will make it harder....
