Mineral = Solid homogeneous inorganic substances occurring in nature having a definite chemical composition.

The minerals that occurs in the surface of the Earth contain all the 92 natual elements (H, He, ... Ca, F, Cl, C, W, Fe, Si, Al ... U).

Example: the soil near your house countains Iron, Aluminium, Silicon, Titanium, Calcium, Mg, Oxigen etc.
