Well I took college chemistry in 1970 and even I know that there are 2 hydrogen atoms in sulfuric acid.
Look closely at the chemistry name for sulfuric acid. If there is a 2 by the S that means there are two asoms. If it said 5, there would be 5 hydrogen atoms......but then it wouldn't be sulfuric acid.
For example water is H2O which means....2 atoms of hydrogen and one of oxygen that make up water.
Do you get it?

There are two. the chemical reciepe is written to show exactly how many atoms of each element are in any given compound. H2SO4 means that sulfuric acid contains two hydrogen, one sulfur, and four oxygen atoms.
