WHEN we ask how life on Earth emerged, we find two different answers:

One is that living things emerged by evolution. According to the theory of evolution, which makes this claim, life began with the first cell, which itself emerged by chance or by some hypothetical natural laws of "self-organization." Again as a result of chance and natural laws, this living cell developed and evolved, and by taking on different forms gave rise to the millions of species of life on Earth.

The second answer is "Creation." All living things came into existence by being created by an intelligent Creator. When life and the millions of forms it takes, which could not possibly have come into existence by chance, were first created, they had the same complete, flawless, and superior design that they possess today. The fact that even the simplest-looking forms of life possess such complex structures and systems that could never have come about by chance and natural conditions is a clear proof of thi

Suppose you were stranded somewhere and you only had an endless supply of Hostess Apple Pies to eat. Assume you had plenty of clean water to drink, and Hostess Apple Pies have a shelf life of 100 year (even though they don't). How long could you live off of only Hostess Apple Pies, and if you would at some point die from this restricted diet, what would it be from?

You measure 5 ml of a solution and determine its mass on a balance. You repeat this procedure four times. You try the experiment again. This time you have four new values for mass, as shown below. What is the statement that best describes the measurements?

Experiment 1: 5.7g, 5.8g, 5.7g, 5.8g
Experiment 2: 4.9g, 5.0g, 4.8g, 5.3g

a) the measurements in both experiements are accurate and precise
b) the measurements in both experiements are not accurate but are precise
c) the measurements in experiment 1 are not accurate but are precise; the measurements in experiment 2 are accurate but not precise
d) the measurements in experiement 1 are accurate and not precise; the measurements in experiment 2 are not accurate and not precise

Can I have an explanation also?

ok.

say for example, you had a human population that evolved by divergent evolution to form 2 species.

are BOTH of these new species (that share a common ancestor of the human) DIFFERENT from the human?

or does one "branch off" to form a distinctly different species from the human, and the other group just kind of continues being human...

im a bit confused

thanks :)

Law of biogenesis states that life comes from life and that a certain kind of animal would give birth to its exact same kind. But then this contradicts evolution. Not the theory but the factual aspect of evolution. wouldnt it?

what are some questions I should ask him?

Creationists believe Adam, Eve, animals, and dinosaurs (all vegetarian including T-rex) were made 6,000 years ago and that evolution, the Big Bang, etc. are all evil ideas made up to attack Christians. Are there any science people out there (or theistic evolutionists) who have ideas for what I can ask?
