What would be a good middle school science fair project involving a goldfish?

I din't know a fish could be frozen!? what happens if it doesn't unfreeze!?
Mabey you could demonstrae how fish breathe with their
gulls, and how long a fish can survive out of water.
And how a fish with a broken fin can grow back a new one.
Or how fish use their fins to navigate thru the water.
Or how much H2o is in a fish tank with out a an air pump,
and how the slime in the tank helps keep the fish healthy.
You could make it complex with these simple ideas.
I love my goldfish.
Bring a cat and show how a cat can pick up a gold fish with his paws and not eat the fish.
My cat did this to my fish and he didn't hurt it, he just put
it in his mouth and I quickly put him back in tank and he survived.

Maybe you can put a plastic maze in a shallow tank and see if one can be trained to follow the maze within a certain time. Then put another in and see if that fish can do the maze faster, which would indicate the first one left chemical clues as to the correct path.
