Evolution was once supposed to be a placeholder, a theory, until scientists could provide an explanation, and an unequivocal proof of how we got here. Why has it become The Answer? Why are scientists, of all people, so closed minded to other possibilities? Fossils and DNA shows POSSIBLE linkages. Yet, it seems that they're building one theory on top of another, without first validating the first theory.

No one knows how we got here. It is simply impossible to determine. The answer to this question is not yet conceivable by any scientists, or religious leader. Why do evolutionists insist that evolution is the obvious answer?

It seems normal now but i gave it a little thought and it sounds weird. Mushrooms do the same thing, thats more weird because green plants breath in carbon dioxide and breath out oxygen... confusing. Oh and not sure what catergory I should've put it under, so don't correct me please.

In the newest issue of SciAm, an article reports that the reason many people resist scientific facts is because they develop assumptions about the physical world at an early age, and that as people obtain new knowledge from others, they judge the claims based on how much they trust the source of the information. Charles Q. Choi (author of the SciAm article) goes on to say "It suggests that science will meet exaggerated resistance in societies where alternative views are championed by trustworthy authorities, such as political or religious figures." The original research was done at Yale and was published in the May 18 edition of Science.

My quesiton is, does it really matter? Those of us teaching in these fields (especially in biology and physics) have already had this notion for quite some time. Does this go on to suggest there may be something that can be done about it? All comments welcome.

"Darwin might never have completed the book if another British scientist, Alfred Russel Wallace (1823-1913), had not come up with the same idea in 1858. While living in the Malay Archipelago in the Pacific Ocean, Wallace formulated his theory and wrote it in an essay, which he sent to Darwin. Darwin's fellow scientists persuaded him to let them present his theory and Wallace's essay jointly at a scientific meeting. The presentation excited very little attention, according to the modest Darwin."

"However, the publication of Darwin's book The Origin of Species in 1859 changed biology forever."

I read this from www.purehealthpatch.com (under the research section....)
"Cell phones damage DNA. Aulterra research demonstrated that cell phone radiation causes a characteristic change in the shape of the DNA helix as measured with a photometer. This effect was repeated and confirmed using cell phones from different manufacturers. Similar effects were seen whether the phone was actively transmitting or in standby mode."

"Cell phones disrupt the bioelectricity in the body which can be measured by several devices which apply a weak current to the body and measure the immediate response. "

"Cell phones increase the temperature of the brain as measured using thermography"

Sounds very scary to me....since I let my children use cell phones :(
