Depends on the timescale. A few years certainly. a few thousand years most probably. But on even a small geological timescale, no, not a trace except for the odd bone excavated by future races. There will be no sign of our intelligence or civilisation. After all, we don't know anything about dinosaur civilisation do we?

The earth, if it survived whatever it was that caused us to become extinct in the first place, would be a monument to human life and the detritus of modern living.
I can't imagine there's much of the surface of the earth that hasn't been scarred by human activity - even if it's only evident through changes in air/earth/water quality.

I suppose it would depend just how we became extinct . If we are hit by some huge meteor for example the planet might just disintegrate ... BIG BANG !!! But I would think that whatever does happen ... if it does .. there will be some traces of what we did on this planet .. Good and Bad .. but who or what would be here to see it anyway .

footprints on the moon, for sure, and a lot of junk in orbit. most stuff on earth's surface would probably be gone fairly quickly, although there are bound to be some traces if anyone in the future cares to look.

In order to insure that we are known long after we are gone, I am proposing that a plaque be placed somewhere that reads:

We came, we saw, we killed everything.

Your question is self contradictory. If we become extinct, how can we be left? But our work may remain.
