We hold these truths to be self evident. That all men are CREATED equal and that they are endowed by their CREATOR with certain inalienable rights...............

How can one intellectually accept the Declaration of Independence's assertion of our being CREATED and having rights given by our CREATOR and at the same time reject ANY DISCUSSION of a CREATOR?

I am not some nit wit leather lunged evangelist. I have considerable formal education and my IQ is higher than either Bill or Hillary's. So please don't dismis my question as that of a kook.

If I drown the egg in a bowl of vinegar first. Then what happens to the egg after 24hours?
Then I'll wash the egg after that and dip it into syrup for 24hours, what happens to that egg?
Finally, at last i wash the egg and drown it into water for 24hours...then what happens to the egg?

PS: There is only one egg involved. After the first step, i was told by my friends in my Biology class that the shell was supposed to dissolve but my experiment at home came out totally different. My assignment is due tomorrow, please somebody tell me the outcomes of the experiment.

I have to make a poster for my college intro biology lab. My options are:
Option 1: Select a topic in molecular or cellular biology
Option 2: Select a body system
What topic should I choose? Something manageable that I can finish by tomorrow at 9:30 am.

In genetics a locus is a fixed position on a chromosome, such as the position of a gene. The chromosomal locus of a gene might be written "6p21.3". Here the 6 is the chromosome number. The letter p indicates that the position is on the chromosome's short arm (example from Wikipedia).

So would a scientist read this out loud as "six P two one dot three" for instance?
