Simple question, hard answer. Where is it placed. Possibly it is not there until birth, or is taught in upbringing. Upbringing is DEFINATELY ruled out from studying bastardized animals. What part of the biological process holds this information.

Is instinct programmed into the lifecycle of a person from repetitive training, to be passed on to the children?????

One last question, if instinct is inheritent-ly created and passed on from so called "lifetime experiences;" does it or will it dissolve with certain variables such as no more need for this instinct? (This means all progenies are from the same species, race, culture, etc, with no need to adhere to this instinctive nature anymore.)

Natural Selection? This is what we have been taught in our textbook. But there is not a shred of proof out there (Can you show me proof?). Just because it is the BEST explanation doesn't make it true. I won't accept it.

Some will say it just makes sense. But really? How much of it is "making sense" and how much of it is indoctrination by our schoolteachers?

Best proof of natural selection or best alternative gets best answer. You cannot use a religious text as proof.

I work a job where I stand all the time for 8 hours a day , 5-6 days a week. Recently my foot has had some mild burning sensation to it, particularly at the top region, spread out, but I have been ignoring it. Tonight, as I got out of my car and stood up, I felt a very severe burning sensation, much worse than before on my foot in the same area...like something exploded in there...just wondering what it may be before I head to the doctors. Please don't tell me to go see the doc, because I will, I just want to see what it may be first. thanks.

Today in my nervous systems class we were talking about the cranial nerves. My professor said that only ANS nerves have ganglia in the PNS, and all sensory and somatic motor nerves synapse within the CNS. When we were looking at the vestibulcochlear nerve (cranial nerve 9) I noticed in the diagram the vestibular ganglia appeared to be in the PNS, but since this is a sensory only nerve, the ganglia should be in the CNS. I asked my professor about it after class, and he said it was a good question and that I should research it. I was wondering if anyone here has taken a neurobiology class and can help me out. Thanks in advance.
