I always wanted to try this one: try to calculate the force that water exterts upon freezing.
You'll need a good sturdy container to freeze the water in, an empty tin can or reasonably small tuperware container should work. Fill it to the brim with water and cap it with a loose cover, then over several trials, stack some sort of weight over it. If you have those disc-shaped weights that fit onto dumbells in your house, those should work perfectly. The water should expand and push the weights upward, when the water does -not- expand, then that weight is just slightly greater than the force the water exerted.
If that's too involved, you could try measuring the increase in volume of freezing water. For this, fill the container only partially and measure the height before and after it freezes. Make sure to use a container that has an easily calculable volume (cylindrical or cube-shaped). Good luck!
