i think its being tired that causes it. i've noticed something else that happens when i get tired. i notice it the most when i'm driving. my eye will wiggle---if i'm tired and driving i'll notice that things i'm looking at will move back and forth a couple of times real quick. that's from my eyes wiggling back and forth! i know then that i either need to pull over and get some coffee or call it quits for the nite and stop driving.

I have the same problem, it is the nerve in your face that causes the twitching

your eye has 6 muscles that control it through nerve signals. Just like any type of muscle spasm which randomly occurs, sometimes there are massive nerve signals sent to the muscles which cause it to contract and relax ("twitch").

I had this a couple times. Being tired a lot causes it, also..if you have longer hair, the hair in your eyes can cause it too.

But it goes away, so I wouldn't worry about it, I had it twice and it only lasts a week or not even!
