Biologist E.O. Wilson has estimated that 27,000 species go extinct each year. Some skeptics, however, point out that scientists have documented the disappearance of only 1,100 species over the past 500 years. Does this observation demonstrate that Wilson's estimate is inaccurate. Explain your answer.

This is not meant to be racist & I'm sorry if anyone interprets it that way. I am a biology major and I'm fascinated by people's migration & the effect of the sun on different races, how people have adapted to different weather conditions, etc. & considering writing my thesis on this. Also my girlfriend is Jewish!

I'm wondering if the reason why so many American and other Jews have very light skin that doesn't look very Middle Eastern or Mediterranean at all is because their DNA is overwhelmingly European, perhaps Eastern European or Russian?

Or do some people in the Middle East naturally have fair skin (for example if the Jews had never left the Middle East).

Many time people say evolution is the answer to creation. I on the other hand am cross referencing this website:

http://www.learnthebible.org/creation_science_main.htm

With several scientific websites, and comparison with Thermodynamics I have concluded tha Evolution does not exist.

Based on what you have after investigate thoroughly, let me know what your thoughts are on this Evolution Hypothesis.

My e-mail is eric.brame@us.army.mil for further questions and/or debates.

I wonder whether if we could modify some bacteria's DNA, to produce oil similar to crude oil? These type of bacteria could just 'eat' some organic compound (which contains CH) and produce out many different CH related compound, like methylene, proplyene, etc, like the crude oil we use currently.

When I start organic chemistry I have a choice between organic chemistry for life sciences and medicine or organic chemistry for individuals majoring in chemistry or biochemistry? Which one am I suppose to take? If you don't know that's all right. I'm going to double check with the counselor shortly, but for the time being I would like to know if biotech is more bio related or chemistry related. Thanks!

Here you have a program that looks for any type of electromagnetic pattern as a possible indication of intelligent life
While the same scientists (mostly evolutionists) can look at the highly structured human body and ignore all the signs of intelligent design.

So to these people, even a trace of order is sufficient to indicate ET life, but incredibly complex design only shows random mutation.

Whazuup with that?
