man has been around for 6mil years.If he is around another 6 mil years what will he evolve into?

Excellent question. Thank you. Our evolution could go in one of two directions. Option One is what happens if we keep polluting our environment. We will have to evolve into beings that can withstand intense ultraviolet rays, digest poor quality food and water, breathe chemical laden air, and survive intense heat and drought. We will be elongated, stick-like people with very narrow eyes. Our noses will have gotten broader to provide for more filters for the air. However, if we save the earth and restore it to a healthy ecosystem, and, if we finally stop our insane wars, then we will evolve into much taller versions of ourselves. Our average height will be much taller for both sexes. Our fingers will have grown longer too and our shoulders more sloping. Painful childbirth will have been eradicated. The average life span would be around 240 years.

sorry, but we humans can't evolve anymore, due to the requirements of evolution.

evolution only happens through natural selection, where the animals with advantages (no matter how small) will reproduce more. the ones with even slight disadvantages will die out. With people, this doesn't happen. The fittest do not necessarily survive the best, and the weak (even deformed!) get married and have children. So, humans won't become resistant to ultraviolet rays or pollution, because these small advantages don't work anymore. if there was someone in the world who could stand better against pollution, then what? better to be weak, rich and afford medicare.

so you see, humans can't evolve anymore. if anything, we will de-evolve, because weak, dumb, mentally disturbed, and short specimens continue to reproduce.

Not sure we are still evolving.

Evolution of man happened because it was an advantage (for reproduction) if you hunted better, planned better, were nicer to others, you name it.

Today you can have horrible eyesight (like I do), be rather physically weak, be pretty dumb and have gone through a pretty poor school, and you may reproduce just as much, if not more (to judge by the statistics) than someone who has better eyesight, better general physical shape, is smarter, and has gone to better schools.

Worse, if your life is going to be, say, sitting in front of a computer doing something not very demanding 7 hours a day, you'll stand this better if you are not too strong or energetic or smart, whereas the better person, caught in this, may give up and never marry or have children.

So my guess would be that, in most of the rich world at least, evolution of the species must have pretty much stopped.
