I always hear about genetic engineering being used to make people smarter or stronger, but it seems to me that our biggest weakness as a species is that we are so cruel.
Do you think it is possible (or a better idea) for genetic engineering to be used to make us kinder instead of smarter or stronger?

If the Great warm up wiped out the mammoth and lead unto the Elephant, no question there. All that proves is that there are no mammoths anymore. So why are there still monkeys since if Darwin's theory is true about survival of the fittest? Mankind should have put shame to the monkey by now.

There is a system being sold to help people sleep better. It is a system that essentially grounds the body to earth via a metallic mat (goes on the bed) and earth rod connection. Is the science factual or is this just another scheme that has no truth to it? See links to where products are shown.

I mean, extreme temperatures existed long into man's existance. Yet we still had to wear clothes. The oldest human found was wearing clothes. Humans have died in extreme temperatures even as far back as then. Maybe this is a stupid question, but what are your thoughts?

We've all seen the pictures - crawling monkey to hunched ape, to slouched neanderthal, to upright man.

I've been trying to walk with better posture for a couple of days, and it's actually quite uncomfortable.

If you're just a little bit slumped, it feels a bit easier on the body, and you have a lower centre of gravity - better for scrambling around quickly and for stability.

So where's the evolutionary advantage in standing completely upright?
