I also hate to admit that, but is there any other choices? if the scientists don't do experiments, there won't be any new discoveries and improvements in sciences.

Introns are just spaces inbetween exons in DNA. They do not contain any information, and just seem to be there. What is the purpose? Also, is it true that eukaryotes have introns, prokaryotes do not?

I am studying how DNA probes can detect harmful alleles. The book I am reading describes that an allele for something like cystic fibrosis can be detected in a heterozygous individual by its restriction site. I understand the concept, I am just curious how an enzyme can cut and paste an allele, and how it knows which one to focus on?

Nature has shown that X Chromosomes were the first to appear in the Natural selection of species. Y Chromosomes came about when one of the X chromosomes deffected within the evoloutionary process. The Y chromosomes are not stable; and due to their unstable nature they are deminishing and shrinking. In about 300,000 years from now the only chromosomes to survive are the X chromosomes. Ultimately ending the human existence gradually after wards; that is if we do survive to see that day. Only Time will tell.
