misquitos??

i was tlkin to my friend and she always gets bit by misquitos and i never do and i eat prty heathly and she doesnt... do the misquitos like alot of blood sugar

Actually, it is a well known fact that mosquitos are attracted to certain people and not to others...I believe this does have to do with such things like blood sugars, seeing as all creatures need sugar (glucose, or other forms) to make energy, it is very likely that this is the case...in addition, because of her diet, she may even be giving off a scent (or something of that nature), that is attracting said insects...

huh? blood sugar? 'prty'? 'tlkin'? by the way, what's a misquitos? mosquitoes, maybe? mosquitoes are heat-seeking missiles of sorts. higher the body heat, the more they like you. also sweet sweat entices them as well. never been bitten? too good to be true. come down to the everglades in florida on a hot steamy night & all bets are off. those buggers aren't too choosy. everything & everyone is up for grabs.

Mosquitoes can see carbon dioxide and lactic acid. We give this off when we breath. Also they are attracted to certain chemicals in sweat, so people who dont sweat much usually get bitten less. Also clothing that contrasts with its environment attracts them. They also do sense heat, but i think your friend may have more sweat glands than you. Causing the mosquitoes to swarm her and not you. I dont believe blood sugar has anything to do with it.
