I am 13, and I want to grow up to be an astronomer or a physicist. I have a few questions on how I should get started.

1. I need to know what telescope I should buy. Actually, I would like to build one to learn the ropes.. Money is a problem though, so I need to know what I need in a telescope and how much I should pay.

2. I love stargazing, but once I get a telescope, I would like goals. what should be a goal for me

3. My mother does not really see anything in this and I need help on how I can get started as cheaply as possible. I can't get a job yet, of course

The Sumerians of Mesopotamia records mention advanced human cloning technology and the existence of an additional planet in our solar system referred to as Nibiru, which is currently unknown to modern science and is the recorded home of our human ancestors, according to these ancient records. WHAT DO YOU THINK ? The records don't say where this planet is located.

Several Months ago while visting a friend I noticed an old car from the 1950's next to an old barn. It had literally sank in the ground up to the steering wheel, I later found out it had been there since the late 60's. I got to thinking how everything sinks into the ground after time. The earth seems to be a giant sponge. What if our past (humans) had all sunk in the ground, the pyraminds being one of the last relics from a recent past. We know the center of the earth is very hot, it keeps recyling itself. What if 100's of civilations, 1000's of civilations, millions of civilations existed before us, cities, towns, governments yet all eviedence eventually all sank into the earth without a trace. Man's history is destruction upon itself. Atlantis is one such example of destruction (possible). Could we be just another link in a chain that stretches billions of years.

I would like to hear from anyone who could explain why this isn't possible

I've heard that most climatic models assume the Sun's output to be steady and don't take into account otherwise. Could there be more to a star's life cycles than we currently know about and what could this mean for life on Earth?

Many years ago I was into private space exploration and I had a family of bald eagle like all pets they want to come along so I took them into space Rear Admirals and Generals laugh & love the idea & said as long as you take your birds with you into space every thing is on the house including all of the National Treasury. So we made space suits for them & we also tooke some of their relatives a hawk. On one inter solar planet mission flight we were stump with a solution my eagle solved it and grab the mike & push the button & gave her solution to the base I told them how to interpet the yak scratching & voulves she was very adment about her calculations & then my hawk grab the mike for further assesment of which was correct. A general said what dose she know shes only a hawk. So the AF & I found this guy in a nut house who could not communicate Hawkins they arange the best physisics and chemist to interpet him & put him in the spot light just to prank a few Generals & Admirals.

Okay...I'm a pretty bright chick and when I get a notion of something I want to do... I get froggy. What does that mean? Well it means that currently I know enough to know that I know nothing about comets yet I know that I want to see one. Can I assume then that when one is making its way within sight of the Northern Hemisphere it will be plastered all over the internet news, msn.com, etc. and then I can google where to look in the skies?

Well when you look up at the stars they look tiny but are actually bigger than our planet...Earth. Then I was thinking if you were on one of the stars and looked down to Earth would it just look like a tiny spec like we see other planets like? x

eg, mapping the human genome, discovery of nuclear fusion, landing spacecraft on the moon and mars, etc. implying science is OVER. what about the other frontiers we haven't fully plumbed like the human mind for instance? ain't we still trying to crack the neural code? what about discovering answers to problems like the riddle of free will and the puzzle of autism, etc.
