There is a lot of talk on the bbc's 'have your say' messageboard about the pros and cons of changing our clocks in autumn and spring. What i'd like to know is how can time be 'changed' - surely 12 noon is when the sun is at it's highest in the sky, how does it all work - put SIMPLY please.

I am curious about this moon visit in 1969. I have seen a documentary stating that the trip was a HOAX, that it is scientifically impossible for man to leave earth's atmosphere without dying. The pictures were taken in a photo studio. What do you think?

What happens with NASA in 2010? I read in a Reuters news story that in 2010 the whole shuttle fleet will be retired (and this is why they want to fix/update the Hubble now).

Will NASA stop sending shuttles in to orbit after 2010? Are we (USA) getting out of sending people to space? If not, I've not heard anything on "new" shuttles?

I've heard that worms thrive near volcanic heat vents deep under the ocean where no sunlight penetrates. Does this prove that the sun is not required for life to exist? If so, does this increase the chances that life exists in colder locations of our solar system?

It is some newly discovered astronomical object, a star perhaps?

Has anyone been able to tune into their broadcasts? Do you use a special radio? Is your mind naturally tuned? Do you have perfect "alien" pitch? some background info: radio waves from earth have been broadcast into space for 70 years now and have thus made it out into space beyond our solar system (about 70 light years) which already encompasses some stars and exoplanets. so, from an alien's perspective, we are aliens to them, and they have our radio waves affecting them.

Even if their existence is implied by a negative square root dolution to the Schwarzchild metric? Does a white hole violate all or everyother law of physics even though a white hole is impossible to reach? Or, is a white hole simply a black hole running backwards in time?

You discovered by your own means if detection, that, even though you resemble a human being in every way except one which is only known by you, what would be your reaction? Would you share this with the proper medical authorities who would be able to determine this by whatever means at their disposal? How would this affect you mentally?

Black holes are described as "garbage disposals" in that stars are disposed of for some reason or another. Do they have anything to do with white holes? What's your opinion on this?
