Surely with 21st century tehnology, NASA could use higher quality transmission for communication instead of the very old school sounding radios I heard them using today. I mean if they can beam images from the shuttle surely they'd have enough bandwidth to transfer a bi-directional compressed audio signal?

There are brothers out there... Sons of the same universe
Even having the technology to visit Earth, they keep a safe distance.
Like if we were "savage natives" (true)
Will be very damaging to alter the natural path of evolution...
But that same path was altered before!
Do you really thing you got that smart brain of yours with natural evolution time?!
Let me tell you all something; this planet is not old enough to have the intelligence found here, we were "investigated" or maybe I mean "inseminated"...

Peace with no frontiers...
There will be another independence day; on the day we realize we are not independents
Time is the soul opportunity

By definition, if there is a central point, then the universe must be finite and must have an outer boundary, otherwise there can be no central point. if it is finite, where is it and what lies outside it?

I live in Orlando, which is relatively light polluted. When looking south between Sagittarius and Scorpius the center of the milky way is missing. What locations in florida are good for dark night sky viewing. Specifically in central florida.

I live in Iowa, and even though the space shuttle is launching from Cape Canaveral, Florida, which is 1500 miles away, will I be able to see it once it gets high enough in the atmosphere? Does the distance matter once it gets high enough in the sky? Or will I not be able to see it at all? I'd like an answer from someone who actually knows please.

I know there has been controversy recently concerning Pluto. Whether it should be categorized as our ninth planet in light of the discoveries of other bodies that appear to be the same as Pluto, except more massive. So the controversy is whether they should be classified as planets as well, or classified as something else, and if they were to be classified as something else, would that mean that Pluto has to categorized as that something else too? While we're at it, what do you think the definition of a planet should be or is? I was just interested in what other people thought. Your responses are greatly appreciated.
