No, to date no signal received by SETI has given any evidence of being generated by an extra-terrestial artificial broadcast source.

Edit: The gathering of signals has not stopped, although it's been stopped & started in the past. Either way, the analysis of the data continues.

You can help by doing processing on your own machine. See the link below for info.

no. SETI has not yet caught any signal. It is really hard to get a signel from any other advanced civilization in universe because universe is so big. Lets say there is a civilization in the other part of milky way galaxy. And if they are also trying to look for other other advanced civilization for example us it will take almost 2000 years for there signal to reach to us. And is has only being a few years till SETI has opened. And you don't know after so many years we are going to still exist. So did you get my point. It is not easy get a signal from outer space.

No. SETI has not discovered proofs yet. Even there were some cases of actual detection of a signal, but in the end it turned out to be a satellite in orbit, the Voyager space craft or ISS.

No they haven't...also SETI was shut down a few years ago. I had a professor in college who was once a part of the SETI program...he was one of 3 teachers for my exobiology class...theoretical information on life outside of earth. So far nothing has ever been discovered to prove life...but have you ever heard of Drake's equation? Basically it states that there is not only life off of earth...but that using probability, there is a lot of it.

Edit:
The Drake Equation: N=N*f(p)n(e)f(l)f(i)f(c)f(L)
I couldn't make subscripts, so I put them in parentheses...basically it's completely based on theory and estimates...but hell, a lot of stuff is...if you want to see more you can go to:http://www.activemind.com/Mysterious/Topics/SETI/drake_equation.html

Not yet. And don't call them "non-earthian". Call them by their proper name, "extraterrestrial".
