There are no odds.

There IS intelligent life outside our planetary system.

" The universe is a pretty big place. It's bigger than anything anyone has ever dreamed of before. So if it's just us... seems like an awful waste of space. Right? "

you need to study the laws of probability for that answer. Then consider the number of habitable planets in the universe and then how many known or unknown universes there are. When you consider all this, then the odds become very small. Someone always wins the lottery. And they only bought one ticket to do it. Though they may have bought a lot more tickets only one won.

The odds are high, we should not be so arrogant to think we are the only ones, even the bible gives clues to this just like when the prophet Elijah rode in the chariot of fire to the heavens chariot of fire would be a space craft .

Zero . We are unique as human beings and God made us in His image . I can't imagine other beings in this vast universe . I do like science fiction too by the way , but the difference is I know it's not real .

Pretty strong. With Billions of stars and planets out there it's almost ridiculous to assume that we are unique or even rare.
