I would rather look at the deepest corners of the Universe than watch a few lucky a*sholes waving at us from Mars.

Considering the vast distances that exist beween the stars, galaxies etc., and the general acceptance that we cannot be the only life form to have evolved in the universe...then isn't the question we sould be asking....'WHEN did other intelligent life exist', not IF it exists.....surely in a thousand years time it is more likely that we will have found countless extinct civilisations throughout the universe and none who are able to interact with us....and wouldn't this make us feel more lonely than ever?

Could the position of our galaxy in the Milky Way, and among the stars, be contributing to the Global Warming problem? Could something so small as the distance to a star have any effect? Or should we just attribute it to mankind's rape of the natural world?

so thanx to those who answered my previous question which was specifically about phosphoric acid (H3PO4)

someone said that the reason why H became 3 because you need three um, was that charge? whatever, you need 3 thingies to balance it with PO4

but how did you come up with PO4? is there a way to get the 4? coz P's charge is 3 and O's charge is 2 and i dont get how 4 came out.

help again pleeeeese!

and thanx!!

theres a garden roller which has a mass of 80kg
its pulled with a force of 250N at an angle of 30 degrees to the horizontal and it moves at constant velocity....

- how is the roller able to travel at constant velocity when being pulled by a force of 250N?
- if the roller was to be *pushed* with a force of 250N at an angle of 30 to the horizontal, what would be the changes that occur to the force exerted on the ground by the roller?

plzzzz help i am sooo stuck!!!

1/R= 1/R1 + 1/R2
where R, R1 and R2 are measured in ohms. R1 and R2 are increasing at rates of 1 and 1.5 ohms per second, respectively. At what rate is R changing when R1= 50 ohms and R2= 75 ohms?
