I'm a pre-med student in Canada. Just wanted to know if anyone who has already had the "pleasure" of taking the MCAT and acing an interview would have the time to share a little insight.

Should I focus on volunteer and research work for my interview, or do they just want to know my general opinions and who I am as a person?

If there is anyone out there who has attended the University of Saskatchewan MD program, even better!

Last night while at the emergency department with a bad asthma attack I had to have a blood gas test. I've had it done before , they use a long fine needle to take blood from the artery in your wrist near your pulse point, n although sore it was never unbearable. last night the dr tried 3 times n each time i was sobbing from the pain ! today my left wrist is badly bruised, swollen and painful to move. have i just been lucky in the past that it wasnt painful or did the dr just balls it up last night?

In a lake or pond with no streams or anything leading into it, without humans stocking it, how did they get in there? How did they start if there were no fish there to begin with?

Follow me for a second. this is for a sci-fi thing I am working on.

IF we are not from earth originally (I mean the human race) and a colinizing species, say from Mars or Venus, and we are not suited to the exact radation frequencies that eminate from our planet it slowly kills us. we already know that when we move away from the planet our atomic clock slows, so the further we get away from the planet, the longer we live, so by staying on the planet we are cutting our lifespans considerably. Thoughts?
