A large water tank in a country with a perfectly regular climate is exactly 48 feet high. During the rainy season, each day has exactly 12 hours of rainfall followed by 12 hours of evaporation. The water level in the tank increases at a uniform rate of 1 foot per hour during the 12 hours of rainfall, and it decreases at a uniform rate of half a foot per hour during the 12 hours of evaporation. If the tank is empty at the beginning of a 12 hour rainfall period, how many hours will it take for the water level in the tank to reach the top of the tank for the first time?

For example, after 12 hours the water level is 12 feet, while after 24 hours the level is 6 feet.

Well, that´s about it, I´d just picked a glass (made of a very thick glass by the way, about 2,1 mm or so) for I was going to have a drink in my place, and then, as soon as I got the glass in my hand, It felt to be actually "undoing" itself into fine grains of glass. The glass was of a fair quality. It had been in my possession for more then ten years and I used it very often, probably everyday, I still have four more just like it. It had absolutely no scratches nor had it ever fallen to the ground or anything that could have compromised it´s physical integrity. When I got the glass I made absolutely no pressure on it, it was empty, for I was going to get a bottle of coke, and then it turned into dust right there in my hand. HELP! WHAT THE *@#$ WAS THAT? I don´t know, I figured it might have something to do with estatic electricity, but I can´t explain it. Can someone tell me what happened?

Does anybody know what birth defects are being caused by women who take paxil while pregnant?

I take Paxil and I am of child bearing age, and hope to have a child soon. I've been wanting to get off this drug for a while, but it's going to be a hassle since you have to wean off of it because a lot of people who stop taking it without weaning have committed suicide.

The articles I've read regarding Paxil and birth defects just vaguely allude to birth defects and don't go into detail about what these birth defects actually are.
