To the ones with the answers to the homework questions do you feel a bit of guilt after reading the above. You can only answer because you LEARNED how to work the problem.

I am trying to find the Watts necessary to heat 2oz. of a mist (similar to water) flowing through a tube at 2oz. per min. There is a heating coil on the outside of the tube. Without knowing much about the tube material, what is an estimate of how much power is required to heat the mist flow from 70 deg. F to 550 deg. F?

Thank you for any assistance.

"The team discovered much higher levels of PD-1 than is normal in HIV patients, which Sékaly said keeps virus-fighting T-cells too relaxed.

By stimulating the PD-1 protein, Sékaly succeeded in preventing the virus from making the immune system's T-cells dysfunctional and allowed them to get on with the job of fighting the virus."

According to this they can reactivate the CD4+ T cells that are inactive due to the virus. Would the immune system then be able to remove the virus?

Of course, this has to do with the abortion issue. But my question is whether apart from what pro-lifers and pro-choicers claim, there is any OBJECTIVE and DEFINITE scientific answer to the question of when exactly life begins.

And can you provide links to serious sites discussing the subject? Thank you.

the answer is -1 but i don't know how, i asked this question before but i guess i didn't explain it right...you can't find this answer with a calculator, u can only find it algebraically, so to do that, u will have to simplify (sin2x)/x ...so this is where im stuck, i can't simplify it =[

thnx for ur help =]

Find all values of x such that cos^2x - cosx = sin^2x, where 0 less than equal to x less than equal to 2-pi. (0 > x > 2pi)

Can someone refresh me how to attempt these kinds of geometry questions? It's part of my readiness test for university math.

I will be controlling the inputs of these XORs directly from a PIC
output, both PIC and Logic powerd from the same regulated +5V. I have
two choices:

ST's Single XOR 74V1G86STR in a SOT23-5L
http://www.st.com/stonline/books/pdf/docs/5735.pdf

OR

Fairchilds Tinylogic UHS Single XOR NC7SZ86M5X in a SOT23-5L
http://www.fairchildsemi.com/ds/NC/NC7SZ86.pdf

They are both astonishingly similar:
both have a VIH minimum of .7 @ 5V
both have a VIL maximum of .3 @ 5V

The Tinylogic can provide up to -+ 24mA at output
The ST can provide a minimum of 8 mA at output

The XOR's output is directly connected to the two Reset pins on a 556.
Hence when the XOR goes high, the 556 begins oscillating. When the XOR
output goes low, the 556 goes back down to outputting 0V.
